Hey, I'm Michaela

Hi! I’m Michaela––I’m a middle child, warm-weather obsessed, and an extremely visual thinker. I entered the world of art and design in a (literal) twist of fate, and it wound up being the best thing that ever happened to me. I played competitive soccer as a kid, and it was my dream to go pro. But it turns out that once you tear your ACL three times, that dream is off the table. While bedridden after my many surgeries, I turned to the one thing that made me feel like myself: art. 

Slowly, I developed my skills as an artist and then attended Syracuse University and majored in Communications Design. I began my career as an associate graphic designer at Compass and quickly moved up to a designer role, where I thrive curating luxury brand collateral, strategic marketing materials, and dynamic creative campaigns. I work best in inclusive, team-driven environments. Outside of design, you can find me pinning my favorite online fashion trends, diving into a fantasy novel, or spending time with my family on Long Island.
